这个复仇的故事聚焦于一个叫做Miki的侦探（以色列著名男星利奥·阿什肯纳兹饰），他遇见了一位失去女儿的父亲，这位父亲将要对杀害他女儿的凶手展开复仇行动，而Miki侦探却并不劝服他遵纪守法，而是藐视法律以牙还牙。

讲述的是渴望独家报道的记者善珠（曹汝贞饰）对杀害了11人的连环杀人犯泳勋（郑成日饰）提出特别采访后发生的故事。

明宇（张赫）是一名性格温文尔雅、正直善良的中学老师，某日，当他见义勇为协助别人追捕小偷时，被正值休班的，性格刁蛮刚烈、嫉恶如仇的女警童珍（全智贤）误当是贼抓获，遂即，童珍对他实施大刑逼供，最后被证实无辜时，明宇已被童珍打得体无完肤。伤势初愈后，明宇被学校派到红灯区辅导问题学生，警方也安排了人员保护他的安全，但令明宇没想到的是，他的护守使者竟是童珍，见面分外眼红的两人开始了别扭的合作，不想过程中竟慢慢生出感情。

关玉明（成龙饰）和女儿小凡（梁佩诗饰）在英国伦敦过着相依为命的日子。关玉明经营着一间小小的餐馆，老老实实的靠着辛勤劳作养活家庭，从未有过想要僭越法律或是道德的念头。然而，上天并不眷顾这个善良的男人，在一场恐怖袭击中，小凡不幸成为了受害者之一。让关玉明无法接受的除了女儿的死之外，还有英国政府对此次事件的轻视和不作为。政府高官莱姆（皮尔斯·布鲁斯南PierceBrosnan饰）出现在了关玉明的视野之中，他坚信莱姆和恐怖组织以及事件的真相有着不可分割的联系。既然法律和正义无法还关玉明一个公道，关玉明决定用自己的力量来为女儿复仇。

阿姆（金城武饰）和小文（郝邵文饰）在夏威夷生活，小文每日在阳光沙滩上优游的与白人女童游戏，阿姆则要担负生活压力，为了保住自己的摊位，雇佣壮汉把自己打造成功夫高手来吓退流氓。释小龙（释小龙饰）和释小燕（叶全真饰）师姐弟分别修行功夫和特异功能，如今二人通过考验，受国家委派前往夏威夷参加世界武术大赛。小龙、小燕偶然从流氓手中救下阿姆，小文很快与小龙成为朋友，阿姆则对小燕一见钟情。被打的流氓引来犯罪集团将小龙绑架，原来小龙与小燕此行表面是参加比武，实际上是为了争夺中苏共同拥有的核武器启动装置。小燕为了救回小龙和犯罪集团作战，而他们的领队却心怀鬼胎……

玲（刘嘉玲饰）是红透半边天的夜总会舞小姐，为人有气义，甚得众姊妹爱戴。米高（梁家辉饰）是一名老千，与朋友靠骗为生，曾与一少女恋爱，可惜少女跳楼轻生，此少女的姊姊王（王小凤饰）誓要报复，找寻证据捉拿米高。玲与米高在一赌场相遇，两人一见倾心，米高教玲老千骗术，二人热恋。米高的搭档（曾江饰）设计陷害他。米高在情不得已下只有暂时设计圈套避过耳目，这让不知情的玲很没有安全感。米高让玲帮他完成计划，左右为难的玲应该如何抉择呢？

atherhusbandjustleftherbecauseshediscoveredthatshecannotbearchildren,andthatherdesirestowardshimarebasedonsexandnothingelse.ButMartinwantstostaywithherandhelphermoveonwithherlife.Martintellstheradioshowhostabouthisaffairwiththehousewifeandthathenolongerhastheurgetoattackotherwomen.Meanwhile,ArthurmeetswithCudaandtellshimthathewantsChristinetoleavetownwithhimsotheycangetmarriedandstartafamily.ButChristinebecomesangryatCudawhenhetellsArthurthatinsanityrunsintheirfamilyandheshouldn'tconsiderhavingchildrenwithher.Shortlyafterwards,ChristinepacksupandleavesBraddockforNewYorkwithArthurdespiteMartintellingherthatArthurisabusivetowardsher.Buthermindismadeup.Beforeleaving,ChristinetellsMartinthatshereallyhasnoillfeelingstowardshimandjustwantstomakeafreshstartwithherlife.Shesaysgoodbyetohimandpromisestowrite.ButMartinknowsthatwithanabusiveandpossessivemaninChristine'slife,sheprobablywon't.Depressedoverlosinghisonetruefriend,Martinphonestheradioshowhostandtellshimthathe'sgetting"shaky"andwantstogooutlookingformorevictims.Thatnight,Martintravelstoaroughcrime-riddenareaofPittsburghandattackstwoderelictsinaalley,injectingthemwithnarcotics.Hekillsoneofthembysiltingthebum'swristanddrinkinghisblood.Martinisabouttokillthesecondonewhenapolicecarshowsupandgiveschase.Martinnarrowlyescapesduringalongchaseonfootwhichleadsfromthegarbagestrewstreetsandthroughalocalstore.Martinrunsintoanoldwarehousewhereadrugdealisgoingdown.Ashootoutbetweenthetwocopsandthethreethugsbeginswhereallofthemarekilled,leavingMartinasthesolesurvivorwhocasuallywalksawayfromthecarnage.Oneday,MartinfindsMrs.Santinideadinherbathtub,aftershehadslitherwritswitharazorblade.Martinanonymouslycallsthepolicetoreportthebodyandleaves.Hephonestheradioshowhostonefinaltimetosaythathereallydoesn'tneedfriendsorpeopletotalktoforheishisownperson.ButwhenCudalearnsaboutMrs.Santini'ssuicide,ismistakenlythinksMartinkilledherandmadeitlooklikeasuicideashe'sdonebefore.CudawalksintoMartin'sroomwhileheisasleepandkillshimbyhammeringawoodenstakethroughMartin'sheart.CudaburiesMartin'sbodyinhisbackgarden,whileovertheclosingcreditsvariousvoicesfrompeopleareheardtalkingtotheradioshowhostaskingthewhereaboutsof"theCount".
