溥仪（尊龙饰）的一生在电影中娓娓道来。他从三岁起登基，年幼的眼光中只有大臣身上的一只蝈蝈，江山在他心中只是一个不明所以的名词。长大了，他以为可以变革，却被太监一把火烧了朝廷账本。他以为自己是大清江山的主人，却做了日本人的傀儡。解放后，他坐上了从苏联回来的火车，身边是押送监视他的解放军。他猜测自己难逃一死，便躲在狭小的卫生间里，割脉自杀。然而他没有死在火车上，命运的嘲笑还在等着他。文革的风风雨雨，在他身上留下了斑斑伤痕。

乌江历来有“天险”之称，两岸峭壁陡岩，江中滩险流急，明礁暗礁星罗棋布，行船十分困难。1935年，红军来到乌江，国民党军队强迫老船工石长青放船过滩剿杀红军，石长青的徒弟赵志江、王保成合力将满船匪军撞在龙头石上，两人随即参加了红军。解放后，王保成任地区交通局长，带领工人沿江修纤道设牛绞关，但仍没能排除行船过滩的危险。1957年，王保成在带领群众整治航道时炸塌了危崖，堵塞了航道，老工人陶师傅也牺牲了，他为此次工程的失败做了检查。1961年，我国困难时期，暗藏的阶级敌人纠合一批不法小业主扣发治滩物资，九龙滩航运陷入一片混乱。新任交通局党委书记赵志江受上级党委派遣回到九龙滩，协助王保成治滩疏航。两人一起制定了规章制度，整顿了货场和放滩秩序，打击了投机倒把分子。赵志江提出了彻底根治航道，炸礁治滩的意见，对当年的治滩失败做了细致深入的调查研究，消除了王保成的思想顾虑，得到了群众和航道工人的支持。他们冒着生命危险下水探测。暗藏的反革命分子--航管站站长魏升见自己即将暴露，垂死挣扎，扣压了防洪通知，命同伙干黄鳝私自起爆，妄图造成工程的伤亡事故。两人密谋时被滩师古胡子听见，魏升指使干黄鳝杀死古胡子灭口。不料，我民兵早有戒备，干黄鳝当场被捉。魏升打死干黄鳝以掩盖罪行，并以洪水卷走苗族青年航道工春生一事嫁祸赵志江。此时，受伤未死的古胡子赶到现场，真相大白，魏升受到了应有的惩罚。春生也遇救赶回，和大家一起投入了炸滩的战斗。乌江天险从此变成了社会主义的水上通途。

话说这南宋年间的河北大名府，有一位名震一方的仗义疏财之士，他就是人称玉麒麟的卢俊义（马景涛饰）。其人豪迈俊敏，重义轻利，与梁山好汉豹子头林冲也多有交往。卢俊义武功高强，手下的浪子燕青同样是忠义豪杰。可叹的是，卢的老婆和和管家暗通款曲，图谋不轨。作为名震一方的富贾豪杰，卢俊义既成为朝廷官府忌惮的眼中钉，也成为梁山好汉急于拉拢的对象。官府衔恨玉麒麟，设下冤狱请君入瓮，李固和贾氏为求苟合落井下石，陷害卢俊义。与此同时，鼓上蚤时迁下山巧妙周旋，加上忠义燕青的舍生救主，水泊梁山上占有重要席位的卢俊义，其命运到了关键时刻……本片根据四大名著之一《水浒传》中的故事改编。

atherhusbandjustleftherbecauseshediscoveredthatshecannotbearchildren,andthatherdesirestowardshimarebasedonsexandnothingelse.ButMartinwantstostaywithherandhelphermoveonwithherlife.Martintellstheradioshowhostabouthisaffairwiththehousewifeandthathenolongerhastheurgetoattackotherwomen.Meanwhile,ArthurmeetswithCudaandtellshimthathewantsChristinetoleavetownwithhimsotheycangetmarriedandstartafamily.ButChristinebecomesangryatCudawhenhetellsArthurthatinsanityrunsintheirfamilyandheshouldn'tconsiderhavingchildrenwithher.Shortlyafterwards,ChristinepacksupandleavesBraddockforNewYorkwithArthurdespiteMartintellingherthatArthurisabusivetowardsher.Buthermindismadeup.Beforeleaving,ChristinetellsMartinthatshereallyhasnoillfeelingstowardshimandjustwantstomakeafreshstartwithherlife.Shesaysgoodbyetohimandpromisestowrite.ButMartinknowsthatwithanabusiveandpossessivemaninChristine'slife,sheprobablywon't.Depressedoverlosinghisonetruefriend,Martinphonestheradioshowhostandtellshimthathe'sgetting"shaky"andwantstogooutlookingformorevictims.Thatnight,Martintravelstoaroughcrime-riddenareaofPittsburghandattackstwoderelictsinaalley,injectingthemwithnarcotics.Hekillsoneofthembysiltingthebum'swristanddrinkinghisblood.Martinisabouttokillthesecondonewhenapolicecarshowsupandgiveschase.Martinnarrowlyescapesduringalongchaseonfootwhichleadsfromthegarbagestrewstreetsandthroughalocalstore.Martinrunsintoanoldwarehousewhereadrugdealisgoingdown.Ashootoutbetweenthetwocopsandthethreethugsbeginswhereallofthemarekilled,leavingMartinasthesolesurvivorwhocasuallywalksawayfromthecarnage.Oneday,MartinfindsMrs.Santinideadinherbathtub,aftershehadslitherwritswitharazorblade.Martinanonymouslycallsthepolicetoreportthebodyandleaves.Hephonestheradioshowhostonefinaltimetosaythathereallydoesn'tneedfriendsorpeopletotalktoforheishisownperson.ButwhenCudalearnsaboutMrs.Santini'ssuicide,ismistakenlythinksMartinkilledherandmadeitlooklikeasuicideashe'sdonebefore.CudawalksintoMartin'sroomwhileheisasleepandkillshimbyhammeringawoodenstakethroughMartin'sheart.CudaburiesMartin'sbodyinhisbackgarden,whileovertheclosingcreditsvariousvoicesfrompeopleareheardtalkingtotheradioshowhostaskingthewhereaboutsof"theCount".
