1930年代，第二次国内革命战争时期。绿林首领白莲花（吴海燕饰）杀死世仇冤家高敬轩，时逢红军团长肖烈（宫喜斌饰）前来邀她参加红军队伍，联手抵御白军师长高占魁（胡浩饰）。白莲花仰慕肖烈艺高人胆大，杀掉新婚夫婿——奸细柳飞，毅然率部参加红军。收编白部后，肖烈帮助他们克服了与生俱来的绿林恶习，并在战斗中与白莲花结为伴侣。高占魁趁红军内部分歧，设计离间政委彭炳青（徐阜饰）与白莲花的关系，分裂红军内部组织。彭中计后，关押了白莲花。期间，肖烈与她永诀。当彭炳青发现自己中敌离间计，后悔不迭，此时白莲花万念惧灰......

本剧由《莫斯探长前传Endeavour》主创RussellLewis负责，改编自PeterJames的「RoyGrace」小说系列。首季由2个120分钟的故事组成，分别改编自小说《DeadSimple》及《LookingGoodDead》。剧集讲述警司主角RoyGrace（JohnSimm饰）的事业因其非传统手法而处于低迷，而且妻子Sandy的失踪也一直困扰着他。此时警探GlennBranson向他寻求协助，他手中有案件是准新郎因告别单身派对后的恶作剧而失踪；接手了案件的Roy凭着直觉﹑猜疑﹑执着而不停追查新郎的下落，并因此接触了准新娘。

第二季将由3集组成，分别改编自原著系列中的《NotDeadEnough》《DeadMan’sFootsteps》《DeadTomorrow》。
